G.P. Tode` Cylinder 15-Bell Musical Clock, Circa 1815
Tode`, 248 Regent Street, London

This beautiful Regency-period, museum-quality musical clock plays 12 selectable airs on 15 music bells.

The case is mahogany with brass inlay and brass finials, with Egyptian corner motifs and an enamel face.  It has Piano-Forte and Strike-Silent levers.

The clock's triple-chain fusee movements have just been professionally restored.  There is separate manual operation of the musical bell section which is activated by the tassel pull on the right side.

Case Dimensions: 16W x 33H x 9D inches
Cylinder : 9 3/4"

This clock was illustrated on page 166 of the Christmas 1979 issue of "The Music Box" magazine of the Musical Box Society of Great Britain.

A video is available.

The case has a couple areas with very small pieces of incomplete moldings visible by directly comparing the left and right sides and slight lifting of a couple small sections of brass inlay.

It is located in Florence, Oregon and due to its delicate nature cannot be shipped or picked up by any commercial carrier. It must either be picked up by the buyer or possibly an arrangement may be made for "hand delivery" or for meeting halfway or farther.  Please provide your zip code for a quote.

The clock's bell supports and hammers are fragile and any significant movement of the clock will likely require adjustment at the clock's destination.

This impressive clock is ready to enhance your decor and your dinner parties!
